BURBANK MUZZLELOADERS Newsletter February 2008 Dear BMLers:The silhouette match was won by Sam Baseman with a record tying score of 18 followed by John Clevenger 11 Tom Andress, Lee Bowman, Tom Trevor all with 9 Eil Colvin 6 , Kent Burton 6 and Skip Stokes with 5 And such a nice day everyone tanked but Sam who hit 5 turkeys, 5 rams, 5 sive pigs and 3 chickens! You will note on the way in that major work has been done on the road and a large culvert installed at the creek crossing, so no more running like scared rabbits when the rain starts. The March 9th. match will be a cartridge trail walk, you may shoot a muzzle loader in this one but not be in the prize running though (cartridge match huh!) and as usuall there will be a fine selection of prizes and drawing items. There will also be a fifth Sunday trail walk any gun shoot on the 30th. Soon you will be able to acess the site via www.burbankmuzzleloaders.net or www.burbankmuzzleloaders.com. You will receive an e-mail to re-register and update your information when the new site is running. We are getting the new server for faster speed. Thanks to Lee for getting us a steel pole for the road sign, the post had been reset for the last time as it got lower each time it rotted off.
